A Hidden Treasure Near the Malecon

Tucked into a space not much wider than a hallway, just two blocks from the Malecon, we stumbled upon a precious vegan restaurant, “Wake Up PV.” The undeniable charm of this hidden gem makes it a true find.

Tempting Offerings and Unique Flavors

I walked in and was simply delighted by the wide range of offerings—baked goods, salads, burgers, hotdogs, and more. After much deliberation, I chose the Seitan Asada Burrito, paired with their unique salad featuring cantaloupe, jicama, and cranberry raisins.

Cozy Atmosphere and Hand-Carved Treasures

Despite its small size, with just two tables, “Wake Up PV” exudes warmth. Hand-carved treasures adorn the restaurant, available for purchase, adding a personal touch and making the space feel even more special. With the handy proximity to the beach, in the future we will grab treats here to take with us to enjoy at the beach.

A Scenic Journey and Delicious Food

I chose to get our burritos to go and embarked on a scenic journey back to the Vallarta Breeze Yoga Studio. We carried them up over the mirador and through the serene mountainside to emerge at the studio in El Caloso. When we finally got to dive in, the freshness of the ingredients was immediately evident. The flavors were clean and delicious, honestly it blew my expectations out of the water. My only regret was not having loaded up with goodies for the entire day!
